Saskatchewan Includes Pancreatic in Occupational Cancer Coverage for Firefighters

Friday, October 27, 2023The Government of Saskatchewan has expanded occupational cancer coverage for firefighters through the addition of six cancers, including pancreatic. We applaud this decision, as there are now seven provinces in Canada that recognize this disease as an occupational risk to firefighters. PCC continues to empower our first responders to understand and advocate for their increased risk of pancreatic cancer.
